Not long ago we were able to recruit 2 stars and unranked players, and the occasional 3 star got everyone excited. Our competition was MAC schools (or less).

The magic of the Cig led IU, comprised of unknown and unheralded players, is what he/they were able to accomplish. I hope we don't fuck that up with all these top flight recruits.

(Only half serious.)  

@pisiem it can't hurt unless they are only taking one tackle, but I don't believe that's the case. We are going to have Matt Weaver from Peegs on the podcast Wednesday night to talk all things recruitng

@bucketgetter I’m talking to sharpe today. I found it odd he was announcing anything before taking officials. I know IU likes him though.

@thehoosierhuddle IU now has two offensive linemen in the fold and I think it makes sense to take AT LEAST four OL in this cycle. Taking five would not be out of the question if they can get top targets (like Caleb Johnson and Dominic Black and Kal-El Johnson)...if all of those guys want to commit, I'd bet they take them all and have a five OL class.

@tjinman1987 Probably. I do think it'll be a relatively smaller class, but they are focusing on OL.

As has been rumored for a bit...4-star DB Monsanna Torbert has decommitted from IU.
