Interesting analysis of this guy from a knowledgeable PSU podcast....something like 'four DL Penn St is targeting" if you want to google it....basically said he's best at run stopping, active, aggressive. Not as good as a pass rusher (relative to his position). Apparently not a starter at Tulsa but in the rotation there, which is odd because Tulsa wasn't a good team this year...1-7 in conference. Any concerns about that vanish when you consider he also visited PSU & LSU. Apparently rated #66 DT type in 247 ratings (for some reason I can't see those).
Edit--The stat line of 46 total tackles, 4.5 TFL and 2.5 sacks seems pretty good for an interior DL.

@kelly_32 I don't follow snappers but he sure looks like a big one. Drew is listed at 6'6" 260#. With 3 years of solid experience looks like a great add for the special teams unit.
@bigmike usually long snappers are like athletic LB build. 6’6 is unusually tall for any football player. I thought IU was set with Sam Lindsey at LS.

@thehoosierhuddle Me too as I thought the Hoosiers were set with Lindsey. Clausen coming on board resulted in my checking the IU roster. Had to double check my reading but Lindsey is listed at a mere 6' & 190 pounds. That's quite a size difference compared to Clausen.

This is a decent size guy. I wonder if he every has filled in at Iowa State on the line? Seems to be a no, lol. Iowa State website says he was the 'long and short' snapper the past two years. I thought, 'isn't the short snapper, the center? 😉
