@it-will-do - Its possible Barker and/or Thiry looked really good and they feel great about what we already had?

I think the player people think about switching is Trevor Gibbs, but he is already listed as a tight end. He was a better player on defense, but he was really damn good on offense too. Six scholarship TEs is a lot and adding a seventh probably doesn't make sense numbers wise.

@yothn yeah maybe so, that makes sense. I just figure they have a plan in place that the are comfortable with

I still think Gibbs is underrated and will see the field next season. For Haines.

His offer list isnt as impressive as his Hudl highlights. Kid looks hungry to make plays, tackles, blocks, anything it takes. A football player. Doesnt look as slick to me as a receiver, but still good.

I can’t decide if I want Gibbs to be the next Stephen Daley or the next Riley Nowakowski.

I guess we are loaded at his likeliest positions both sides. So maybe special teams. No self imposed limitations though!

#40 Quiton Clark, LB/DE, who's a good all-around athlete

@red-hornet thanks, I drew a blank on his name. There just seems to be some talented guys that could play a significant role next year. Which is a good thing.

I'm excited for our 2026 Hoosiers, as the trenches on both sides of the ball are well manned. I can see us going back-to-back for the FB Natty

Im a little worried about no backup QB.

But usually to win big you need good breaks on the health front anyway. And a good line both sides does go a long way.

95% of teams are worried about their backup quarterback.
