the pass chart is interesting. Most of his interceptions (8/12 or 13) were passing to his right, which I would think would be the favored side for a right hander. Also, no picks over the center of the field, which again, I would think would be a prime area for interceptions with more defenders from DE and LBs. I think I'd be checking his eye sight to start with. Might just be statistical anomalies with too few instances, but seems odd to me.
I would think it is more difficult for a right handler to throw to his right. He has to turn his body that way whereas when throwing over the center or to his left he just throws across his body. ...contemplating just what a spastical anomaly looks like! I'm not 100% sure, but I'd think Jim Carrey is getting that role!

Hoover is going to tear teams up.
May be a few picks when we are aggressive going to our strong wideout corps, thinking we may challenge vertically more than the past. I can live with that. Defense will just get us the ball back and then we will go score touchdowns.
@openwheel I'm hoping we also use the backs more as outlets in place of Mendoza scrambling. Hope Hoover moves to extend plays and then dumps it off and let our backs work their magic, over him taking hits running the ball too often. I'd read folks criticize his mobility but he looks like he moves pretty well to me.
Ive been hoping we throw more to the backs for two years, so I agree again this year. But it's not Shanahan's thing I guess. Hoover looks like the best combo of mobility and touch for that though, that we've had.
TCU fans say they used to scream 'run!' and many times were frustrated he wouldn't pull it and go. They say he's not mobile because he didn't run those times. Looks mobile in avoiding the rush to me. I'm fine with that.
But I also think we've got a stretch the field receiving corps. Excited to see if we use it.
