I was so psyched after this game.
I was there with my brother in law, also an IU alum. We were decked out in red IU shirts and candy striped pants. We were there with our wives who were donning Tiger gear. We are all from MO. It was the craziest game. I truly did not expect us to have a chance and as the game ground on, my BIL and I kept looking at each other like, we might actually have a chance. Teven Colman was the man that day. When the game ended and we actually pulled it out, we just stood there- frozen. We didn’t say a word. We let the stands clear out a little around us and then started to make our way down. When we got out into the concourse, we noticed a cop was following us. I turned around and asked if there was a problem, and he said that he was just making sure we got out safely. To be far, we never felt threatened in any way. Those Tigers were certainly shocked that day. Go Hoosiers!
Nice win. A good Mizzou team. Yeah that Indiana season didnt pan out like I hoped either. I guess giving up 45 a game wasnt the secret formula for success.
I remember when Bill Mallory used to beat Mizzou like a drum.
