The Indiana Hoosiers enjoyed a well-earned rest this weekend. The Hoosiers sit at 10-0 heading into the massive clash against #2 Ohio State. A very strong argument could be made that this game is the biggest Indiana University football game since at least 1967. IU is a 10.5-point underdog to the Buckeyes in Columbus. A victory in Columbus would very likely send the Hoosiers to Indianapolis to compete for the Big Ten Championship while a loss would leave IU’s fate at the mercy of the selection committee. How would the Playoff Committee view an 11-1 Indiana team? That will largely depend on the nature of the loss.

You often hear in football that certain coaches are just harder to go up against after they have had a bye week. Whether it is getting their guys extra rest, having more time to scout the opponent, or adding new tricks to their own playbook, some coaches just seem to have an advantage when given extra time to prepare. Four-star safety out of Baltimore, Maryland Byron Baldwin is back as part of the 2025 recruiting class. Baldwin is ranked a four-star prospect ranking from 247Sports. During his junior season in 2023 Baldwin made 89 tackles with four pass breakups, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. He shows great awareness for the ball on defense and can make up ground with his athleticism.
