The Hoosiers can Keep Pace Against OSU If...

While the Indiana Hoosiers cannot make the postseason in 2014, they can sure play the role of spoiler. The Hoosiers head into a matchup with the Buckeyes, who are playing for a conference championship and a spot in the inaugural College Football Playoff, where they sit in the six spot. Indiana has not triumphed at the Horse Shoe since 1987, and that streak may not end this week, but stranger things have happened. Maybe. So what needs to happen for the Hoosiers to put a scare into Buckeye Country?
1.Leave it all on the Field- The Hoosiers have nothing to lose Saturday, so why not take a few risks and try to make big plays happen. If they can get some points on the board early, maybe, just maybe they can catch Ohio State napping and looking forward to the next two weeks.
2. Tevin Coleman Has Another Big Day- To ask Coleman to go for another 300 yards is not fair, but if the man they call ‘Rock’ can get some running room it may allow the Hoosiers to shorten the game and have a shot to stay with the Buckeyes late into the second half.
3. Make Something Funky Happen- Easier said than done, but if the Hoosiers have been forcing more turnovers lately and did start the game against Rutgers with an onside kick. If they can grab a pick six or even a scoop and score and make the Buckeye faithful nervous it can go a long way for this program.
