Tevin Coleman suffered his second crushing defeat on the game's grandest stage. Just three years ago, Coleman was on the losing end of Atlanta's collapse against New England. This year, the San Francisco 49ers collapsed, blowing a 10-point lead over Kansas City with six and a half minutes to play.

Coleman gutted it out on Super Bowl Sunday after separating his shoulder just two weeks earlier in the NFC Championship Game. Coleman caught one pass for three yards and carried the ball five times for 28 yards. The best play of the day for the legendary Hoosier running back came on a 17-yard run before halftime en route to a 49ers touchdown drive.

There was one Hoosier who came out victorious on Sunday: Former IU running backs coach Deland McCullough. After coaching RBs at Indiana from 2011-2016, McCullough made a pit stop at USC before making his way to the NFL. Now he is a Super Bowl Champion with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Another NFL season is in the books. Several former Hoosiers continued their successful pro careers while a few others are just beginning. Stay tuned at Hoosier Huddle for updates on the XFL, where former IUFB stars Simmie Cobbs and Tegray Scales will get a chance to show out.
