As first reported by the Indiana Daily Student, the Indiana Hoosiers will hire Kasey Teegardin to replace departed safeties coach Noah Joseph. An official announcement is expected to come later in the week.
Teegardin should be a familiar face to Hoosier fans as he has spent the last four seasons with the program. Teegardin was a defensive graduate assistant from 2014-2016 and was the Director of On-Campus Recruiting in 2017. Prior to coming to Indiana Teegardin was the special teams coordinator and linebackers coach at Valparaiso University from 2012-2013. In 2011 Teegardin was the defensive coordinator at Northwood University.
After the 2017 season with Indiana, Teegardin was hired by Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia as defensive coordinator and assistant head coach.
The Hoosiers start spring practice this Saturday in Bloomington.
