The Indiana Hoosiers received some bad news in regards to senior receiver Isaiah Roundtree.  On Thursday evening, Roundtree’s teammate and fellow receiver Shane Wynn put out a post on Instagram that Roundtree had suffered a significant leg injury. Another photo surfaced of Roundtree wearing a boot on his left foot.

The injury has been confirmed by Indiana University, but they did not specify what the injury was as of Thursday night. However it is believed to be season ending.

Roundtree, an Indianapolis native, transferred to Indiana from Moorehead State University after the 2010 season. He had to sit out the 2011 season due to the NCAA’s transfer rules. For his career Roundtree has 236 receiving yards and a touchdown. Most recently he set a career high in receptions with six in the Hoosiers’ 49-24 win over North Texas on October 4th.

Roundtree's role is likely going to be filled by true freshman J-Shun Harris, if he is back from a head injury, and a slew of other receivers including Mitchell Paige.
