Indiana Announces 2023 Full Football Schedule

The Big Ten Conference had internal discussions about banishing divisions as early as the 2023 season. Once league officials determined the East and West divisions would stay put for the upcoming season, team schedules were finalized and Indiana University announced the Hoosiers 2023 schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

IU will open with the Ohio State Buckeyes on September 2, 2023 in Bloomington. The Buckeyes will likely be without several current stars that will head to the NFL Draft after this season but there is little doubt they’ll be a top five team once again. IU will then play Indiana State on September 9, Louisville in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium on September 16 and the Akron Zips in September 23 in Bloomington. The Hoosiers hit the road for the first time on September 30 for a game in College Park against the Maryland Terrapins. IU’s open week will be on October 7 and then they play at Michigan on October 14. IU returns home for a clash with Rutgers on October 21 before a road game at Penn State on October 28. Three of the final four games are against Big Ten West opponents as IU hosts Wisconsin, plays at Illinois and finishes the season at Purdue all sandwiched around a home game on November 18 against Michigan State.

The Indiana Hoosiers will close out the 2022 season with the back end of their schedule after the current much-needed off week.
