Indiana adds to 2024 Recruiting Class with Kameron Courtney Commitment

The Indiana Hoosiers secured another victory on the recruiting trail as athlete Kameron Courtney committed to the program. Kourtney visited the Hoosiers on April 23 and chose the Hoosiers over Virginia, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Penn and North Carolina. Courtney is originally from Woodbridge, Virginia and he was rated as the 22nd best player in the state by 247Sports.

IU is recruiting him as a safety and at 6’0”, 190 pounds, he’s an excellent addition to the secondary pool. Courtney joins Keion Dunlap as safety commitments in the class of 2024 and Indiana is assembling another solid class under Tom Allen. After his official visit to Indiana, Kameron Courtney told peegs.com that he was down to North Carolina and Indiana so the Hoosiers beat out the Tar Heels for his services.

Indiana is now up to 17 commits in the class after adding OL Austin Leibfried on Friday night. Courtney becomes the sixth defensive commit, and the focus of the staff now will be on Linebacker and D-Line. On offense, IU will likely pursue at least one running back and maybe one more WR, but expect IU to go all-in now on a few of their preferred defensive targets.

Hoosier Huddle will cover any new developments as the Hoosiers continue to build the 2024 recruiting class.
