At Kevin Wilson's weekly press conference on Monday, the head coach announced that former Cincinnati lineman Ja'Merez Bowen has transferred to Indiana. Bowen will have to sit out the 2015 season and will be able to play three years starting in the 2016 season.

Bowen was a three-star recruit across all of the four major services out of Shaker Heights H.S. (Cleveland, Oh.). He played defense his senior season in high school and put up 24 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Kevin Wilson is confident he has the body type, at 6-4 270 lb.,  to make the transition to offensive line.
