How Former Hoosiers Fared in Week Nine of the NFL Season

Week nine of the NFL season is in the books and it was another productive ones for Hoosier football alumni. Former IU receiver Cody Latimer showed out returning kickoffs on Monday Night Football and Eagles running back Jordan Howard got revenge on his former team the Chicago Bears.

Tevin Coleman – San Francisco 49ers
Tevin Coleman had a quiet game on Thursday following his four-touchdown outburst last week. Coleman was held to just 23 yards rushing on 12 carries. Coleman added two receptions for 13 yards. The 49ers hung on for the victory and remain undefeated on the season.
Jordan Howard – Philadelphia Eagles
Jordan Howard got revenge over his old team as the Eagles defeated the Bears on Sunday. Howard found the end zone in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. Howard carried the ball 19 times for 82 yards on the ground and he added one reception for one yard. The Eagles moved to 5-4 on the year with this much-needed win.
Ian Thomas – Carolina Panthers
Ian Thomas was active but did not record a statistic in Carolina's win over the Tennessee Titans.
Cody Latimer – New York Giants
Cody Latimer found the end zone Monday night in the Giants loss at home to the Cowboys. Latimer finished the night with two receptions for 8 yards and a TD. Latimer was also a major factor in the kick return game where he accumulated an impressive 181 return yards, including an explosive 50-yard kick return to help keep New York in the game. Latimer has 14 catches for 173 yards and 1 TD so far this season.
Nate Sudfeld – Philadelphia Eagles
Nate Sudfeld was active as a backup quarterback to Carson Wentz in Philly's win over the Bears.
Chris Covington – Dallas Cowboys
Chris Covington was inactive for the Cowboys win over the Giants on Monday night football.
Dan Feeney – Los Angeles Chargers
Dan Feeney was active at left guard for the LA Charges in their dominant victory over the Green Bay Packers.
Brandon Knight – Dallas Cowboys
Brandon Knight was was active for the Cowboys win over the Giants on Monday night football.
Wes Martin – Washington Redskins
Wes Martin was inactive on Sunday for Washington's loss at Buffalo.
Roger Saffold – Tennessee Titans
Roger Saffold was active at right guard for the Tennessee Titans in their loss against the Panthers. Tennessee moved to 4-5 on the year as their offense continues to struggle.
Jason Spriggs – Green Bay Packers
Jason Spriggs remains on Injured Reserve.
