How Former Hoosiers Fared in Week 7 of the 2021 NFL Season

Here is how former Hoosiers fared in week seven of the NFL season.

Rodger Saffold – Tennessee Titans (5-2)

Rodger Saffold got the start at guard on Sunday as usual. The Titans dominated the Chiefs on both sides of the ball, with Saffold helping power a balance offensive attack. Tennessee now sits alone atop the AFC South.  

Tevin Coleman – New York Jets (1-5)

Tevin Coleman was inactive on Sunday for the Jets blowout loss to New England. Coleman is dealing with a hamstring issue and is week-to-week.

Nate Sudfeld – San Francisco 49ers (2-4)

Nate Sudfeld was active for the first time this season, backing up Jimmy Garoppolo in the 49ers loss ot the Colts.

Dan Feeney – New York Jets (1-5)

Dan Feeney was active for the Jets loss against the Patriots. Feeney saw playing time on special teams during the game.  

Ian Thomas – Carolina Panthers (3-4)

After a 3-0 start, the Panthers have lost four straight. Tight end Ian Thomas was targeted twice in Sunday’s loss to the Giants, but did not record a stat. Thomas has 10 receptions for 120 total yards this season.  

Wes Martin – New York Giants (2-5)

Wes Martin was active for the Giants win over Carolina. Martin saw playing time on special teams during the victory.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine – Tennessee Titans (5-2)

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine did not record a statistic on Sunday in Tennessee’s blowout win over Kansas City. The former IU wide receiver has 12 catches for 125 yards and a touchdown so far this season.

Jason Spriggs – Atlanta Falcons (3-3)

Jason Spriggs got the start at right tackle in Atlanta’s last-second win over Miami. For the first time since December 2018, Spriggs played 100% of the Falcons’ offensive snaps. The former IU O-lineman is enjoying one of the healthiest stretches of his pro career.

Jamar Johnson – Denver Broncos (3-4)

Jamar Johnson was inactive for the Broncos loss to the Browns on Thursday. The rookie defensive back has not been active in a game yet this season.

Jordan Howard – Philadelphia Eagles (2-5)

Jordan Howard is on the Eagles’ practice squad but remained inactive on game day.
