How Former Hoosiers Fared in Week 2 of the 2021 NFL Season

Seven former Hoosiers were active in the NFL this week and several saw game action. Harry Crider makes his first appearance on this list this week. The Philadelphia Eagles signed Crider to their practice squad ahead of week two.

Rodger Saffold – Tennessee Titans (1-1)

Rodger Saffold got the start at left guard for Tennessee’s thrilling overtime victory in Seattle. The Titans needed the win to get back to avoid falling to 0-2.

Tevin Coleman – New York Jets (0-2)

Tevin Coleman had five carries for 24 yards in the Jets’ loss at home against New England. Coleman has 14 attempts for 48 yards so far this season.

Nate Sudfeld – San Francisco 49ers (2-0)

Nate Sudfeld remains on the 49ers’ practice squad.

Dan Feeney – New York Jets (0-2)

Dan Feeney was active for the Jets on Sunday. Feeney took a few snaps on special teams in New York’s loss to the Patriots.

Ian Thomas – Carolina Panthers (2-0)

Ian Thomas was targeted twice and had one catch for seven yards in Carolina’s win against the Saints. Thomas has two catches for 24 yards so far this season. 

Jordan Howard – Philadelphia Eagles (1-1)

Jordan Howards remains on the Philadelphia practice squad.

Wes Martin – Washington Football Team (1-1)

Wes Martin remains on the WFT practice squad.

Brandon Knight – Dallas Cowboys

Brandon Knight was active for the Cowboys thrilling win in LA on Sunday.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine – Tennessee Titans

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine was targeted once and came down with a 6-yard reception on Sunday during Tennessee’s overtime win in Seattle. The former IU wideout also registered a tackle in the game. Westbrook-Ikhine has two catches for 16 total yards this season.

Jason Spriggs – Atlanta Falcons (0-2)

Jason Spriggs saw snaps on special teams for the Falcons loss against Tampa Bay on Sunday. Spriggs is as healthy has he’s been so far in the NFL.

Jamar Johnson – Denver Broncos (2-0)

Rookie Jamar Johnson was inactive again on Sunday for the Broncos win over the Jaguars. 

Whop Philyor – Minnesota Vikings (0-2)

Whop Philyor remains on the Minnesota practice squad.

Harry Crider – Philadelphia Eagles (1-1)

The Eagles signed former IU O-lineman Harry Crider to their practice squad.
