Hoosiers Safety Devon 'Monster' Matthews Declares for the NFL Draft

Indiana Hoosier safety Devon ‘Monster’ Matthews declared for the NFL Draft on Monday evening on social media. Matthews was a fifth-year senior in 2022 and played in 52 games at IU.
Over his five seasons at IU Matthews made 217 tackles with 10 coming for loss and four interceptions. The Jacksonville, FL native was named Third-Team All-Big Ten in 2020 and was named Indiana’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2021. Matthews also served as a team captain in 2022.
