Hoosiers Land Top Prospect From Wisconsin in Da'Shaun Brown

The Hoosier football season ended on the field a little over a week ago, but since then the Indiana coaching staff has been scouring the country for players to help them in the future. On Monday night the Hoosiers landed the top prospect in Wisconsin, according to 247 Sports, Da’Shaun Brown. He held offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Syracuse and Wisconsin.
Brown is a 6-foot-1 athlete who is rated a three-star prospect and the 504th best player in the nation. He was recruited to IU by safeties coach Kasey Teegarden (primary) and wide receivers coach Grant Heard. Brown made his announcement on Twitter Monday night saying, “First of all I want to thank God and my support system in my family and everyone who has pushed me to be the player and person I am today, much love, my four years of high school football holds some of my best memories but it’s time to make some more great memories, with that being said I would like to announce that I am ending my recruitment process and will be committing to Indiana University.”
Brown played quarterback and safety in high school at St. Catherine’s in Racine, Wisconsin. He possesses a ton of athletic ability and could be moved to another position offensively, Watch Brown’s HUDL TAPE HERE.
Brown is Indiana’s 17th commitment in the 2019 class and raises the class ranking to 38th nationally and ninth in the Big Ten. The early signing period in December 19th.
