Hoosiers Land Arizona Transfer DJ Warnell to Add to Secondary

The Indiana Hoosiers received reinforcements for the secondary on Wednesday evening as former Arizona Wildcat DJ Warnell Jr. committed to play the 2024 season for head coach Curt Cignetti. He played the nickel corner position at Arizona. Prior to playing for the Wildcats Warnell played two seasons at UCLA.

The 6’2” 200-pound defensive back played in all 13 games for the Wildcats in 2023 making 15 tackles including three for a loss. He has 40 games of experience under his belt. Warnell continued to practice with the Wildcats this spring after entering the portal
