The Indiana Hoosiers landed another prized target from the transfer portal on Monday evening as former Oregon edge rusher Anthony Jones chose IU after entering the portal in late April. Jones is listed at 6’5” and 242 pounds. Jones will be a redshirt freshman in 2023 with four years of eligibility remaining. He chose IU over transfer offers from offers from Cal, Texas Tech, San Diego State, and Utah State.

Last season at Oregon, Jones played in two games including the Holiday Bowl against UNC. He made one tackle. Out of Liberty High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jones was a highly sought after recruit. He chose Oregon over offers from Miami, Texas, Washington and USC.

He will likely play the Bull position for IU.
