The Indiana Hoosiers have added graduate transfer Kayton Samuels, a six-foot 319-pound defensive tackle, who played 34 career games at Syracuse. Samuels announced his decision to play his final year of college ball in Bloomington via social media Sunday afternoon.

Samuels is a welcome addition to the Hoosiers who need defensive line depth. Samuels played in 34 career games, including 24 starts.. for the Orange and racked up 44 tackles including 4.5 TFLs. He was also a 2015 Academic All-ACC selection. IU had lost some big bodies up front with the graduation of senior Nate Hoff and the transfer of Juan Harris.
