Hoosier Kicker Charles Campbell Named Lou Groza Star of the Week for Second Time in 2022

Indiana Hoosiers kicker Charles Campbell was named one of three Lou Groza Award Stars of the Week for his four field goal performance in Saturday’s 33-30 win over Western Kentucky.

Campbell has been stellar this season and his 51-yard field goal won the game for the Hoosiers in overtime. Campbell led the Hoosiers with 13 points on Saturday and has 27 on the season. He has hit seven of his eight field goal attempts this year.

College football’s top kicking award, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award presented by the Orange Bowl recognizes top kickers each week from FBS division teams as the “Stars of the Week.”
