Time is flying by as we soar into the final quarter of the Hoosier Huddle Countdown to Kickoff as we hit day number 24. Today we will be taking a closer peek at one of the newest Hoosiers athlete Mike Majette.

Mike Majette

  • Ht/Wt: 5-10/201
  • Position: Athlete
  • Year: Freshman
  • Hometown: Woodbridge, Va.

Majette played all over the field on every side of the ball for head coaches Kevin Smith and Karibi Dede at Woodbridge Senior High School in Virginia. He racked up 2,106 total yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior in 2014. He came out of high school rated as the 16th best prospect out of Virginia and the 30th best "athlete" in the nation according to 247 Sports. He also lettered in track and field.

Majette has been working with the offense in fall camp and figures to be in the hunt for playing time as the Hoosiers have many questions at wide receiver. However, do not be surprised to see the coaches try him out on defense to help with depth issues on that side of the ball.
