Countdown to 2020 IUFB Kickoff: Day 22 (Tim Baldwin)
/Written by Sammy Jacobs
Name – Tim Baldwin
Position – Running Back
Year/Hometown – Freshman from Nokesville, Va (Patriot)
Height – 6’0”
Weight – 217lbs
Tim Baldwin comes to the Hoosiers from Virginia as former regional and district offense player of the year. He ran for 1,604 yards and 25 touchdowns during his senior season. Baldwin had enrolled at IU in January and had participated in the four spring practices before they were cancelled.
The Hoosiers lost some running back depth when Cole Gest and Ronnie Walker left via transfer portal, so Baldwin has a chance to come in and make an impact in the rotation.
Allen has said Baldwin “has really grown from coming in January until now. He almost looks like a different player than he did in those first four days of spring.”
