Welcome back for the second part of our Day 70 double-header as we take a look at offensive lineman Peter Schultz

Name – Peter Schulz

Position – Offensive Line

Year/Hometown – RS Freshman from Franklin, Michigan

Height – 6’2”

Weight – 242 pounds

Schulz joined the Hoosier football program as a walk-on during fall camp in 2019. He redshirted last season, but his hard work on the practice field paid off with two Scout Team Player of the Week honors. He was also a direct admit to the Kelley School of Business.

Schulz probably won’t see much game time until he can get his weight up from 242, but he is an incredibly hard worker and comes from a winning high school program (Brother Rice) as his team went to three-straight district finals. Players like Schulz are vital for the continuing improvement of Indiana’s football program. One can hope that Schultz’s hard work gets rewarded with some in game snaps down the road.
