Just cresting the final 30, the Hoosier Huddle 100 Day Countdown keeps on rolling. Today, we’re taking a look at junior DB Jordan Jusevitch.

Name: Jordan Jusevitch

Position/Year: Defensive Back/Junior

Hometown/High School: Lowell, IN, Lowell HS

Height: 6’1”

Weight: 206 pounds

After redshirting the 2018 season, Jordan Jusevitch appeared in three games and had a decent outing in each. He was the defensive scout team player of the week against Rutgers, and as someone a little older than some of the other guys, Jusevitch is a guy that some of the younger guys can look up to.

The three star ranked DB out of Lowell High School made quite the splash when he was one of the finalists for the 2017 Mr. football award. He was an Indiana Football Coaches Association (IFCA) Top 50 selection in 2016 and 2017. Jusevitch’s high school trophy case doesn’t stop there either. He was a three-time IFCA and Associated Press first-team all-state (2015-17), 2016 and 2017 Northwest Times and Northwest Post-Tribune Defensive Player of the Year, and four-time, first-team all-conference honoree is the program’s all-time tackles and interceptions leader.

Jusevitch has a great high school accolades list, and for a guy with his work ethic, he deserves it all. Jusevitch should be a key player this season. Seniors that have left the program and Jusevitch becoming more of a rounded player will contribute to more playing time for the Junior DB.
