The Hoosier Huddle countdown to kickoff has begun. Just 60 days remain until the Hoosiers kickoff the 2019 season in Indianapolis against the Ball State Cardinals. Today we will highlight long snapper Jacob Limbach.

Jacob Limbach (Redshirt Junior)

Height: 6’1”

Weight: 205 Pounds

Hometown: Greenwood, Indiana

Position: Long Snapper

Jacob Limbach transferred to the Hoosier program after spending the 2016 season at the University of Indianapolis. The Center Grove product played long snapper for the Trojans in 2015, starting all 14 games and leading Center Grove to an undefeated state championship season.

Limbach has yet to see game action at the University of Indianapolis or with Indiana, mostly because of the stranglehold that now-graduate Dan Godsil has had on the long snapping position. However, Coach Allen has gone out again and found one of the top long snappers in the nation, Sean Wracher. Limbach’s future playing time is again murky, but will continue to make contributions to the scout team and in practice.

Only one Indiana football coach in history has led the Hoosiers to a bowl game in his first season at the helm. Who was that coach?
