The Big Ten Conference announced Monday morning that Indiana running back Tevin Coleman received the conference’s offensive player of the week award for his performance against the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday.

Coleman ran for 219 yards and three touchdowns on just 15 carries in Indiana’s 45-29 loss. He had touchdown runs of 45, 69, and 83 yards. It was his eighth straight game with over 100 yards on the ground and his 15th straight with a touchdown. Both streaks are the longest in the nation among active players. Coleman now leads the nation in rushing with 1,060 yards and became the first Hoosier rusher to crack the 1,000-yard mark since Levron Williams did it in 2001.
