Indiana has started spring practice, and with that comes visits from recruits. Last week, one of the most prominent visitors was a kicker. Brayden Narveson, an Arizona native took a trip up to Bloomington. Narveson is the 11th ranked kicker in the nation and top-ranked kicker in Arizona.

“Indiana was awesome,” Narveson said. “I love everything they stand for, both academic wise and football wise. Coach Allen has a great program and I'd love to play for him. He has a great plan to breakthrough and I feel I would fit in great.”

Narveson stands at 6-1, 185. His coach Chris Sailer calls Narveson a strong leg with college ready kickoff skills. Narveson doesn't hold any offers at this time, but Indiana and Coach Allen are very high on the Arizona native.

“I'm taking to Indiana, Minnesota, North Dakota and Iowa State. Indiana is a school that has really caught my attention and I only got a better idea of the school when I visited. The school, academics, campus and football team is a great mix. It's beautiful up there.”

Narveson has family in Indiana, one reason why IU catches his eye. He admits that will play a big factor in his recruitment. His aunt and uncle are alumni of IU, so Brayden grew up around Bloomington. His favorite memory is attending his first football game at Indiana.

“I've been to many football games. The atmosphere is incredible. I couldn't imagine playing there. I've grown up an Indiana fan so an offer would really change my recruitment and mean so much to me and my family.”
