The Indiana Hoosiers defense has had an injury added to their list of woes.  Kevin Wilson announced today that true freshman safety Antonio Allen is done for the year after tearing an ACL against Michigan Saturday afternoon.

Allen made his first start Saturday and had played in all seven games this season.  Prior to his injury he was seventh on the team in tackles with 35 and had one fumble recovery.  Mark Murphy, who was replaced by Allen, will take back his position in the defensive back field.  The Hoosiers defense, who is already facing issues with depth, will have to fight through with one less safety.

Allen cannot take a medical redshirt this season, but if he has not recovered by the start of next year he still has a redshirt available.
