The 2018 class is starting to develop more and more as fall is creeping closer and closer to us. One prospect who visited for junior day and who could possibly be an addition to this class, is 2018 Chicago, Illinois LB Terrance Taylor.

The 6-4, 210 pound LB holds offers from Toledo, Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan. Indiana would be a major offer for the Mount Carmel LB. When asked about the visit to Bloomington, Taylor rated it a “9/10.”

“The visit was awesome. Easily my favorite one yet, I would give it a 9-of-10 considering all things,” Taylor said. “I talked to a lot of coaches, but I talked to Coach Inge the most. We talk a lot and he is a great guy. It's like talking to a friend. Very cool dude.”

Taylor says Indiana is a top option if they offer. The campus, facilities and locker room were all on a whole new level for the underrated LB. One thing that is a factor for Taylor’s recruitment is a good fit, and he sees that in Bloomington.

“Just the atmosphere is awesome,” Taylor said. “The feel of a campus is something I love. If Indiana offered, I would have to wait a week or two to talk to everybody, but I'd probably pull the trigger. The campus was bigger and better than I thought. Buildings were beautiful.”

While on campus, Taylor and the other recruits caught a basketball game. Taylor said he enjoyed the game, while getting a feel for the environment of a game scenario. Taylor said the fans were louder than expected.

“Assembly Hall was awesome. Hanging with the other recruits and coaches was a good bonding moment. I was there 5pm-11pm so I saw a good portion of everything. The coaches want to see me this fall and watch my film again before they offer, they said. An offer would mean a lot to me.”
