One of the newest offensive linemen projects for new OL Coach Bob Bostad will be Tyler Jeffries, a freshman interior lineman from Alcoa High School in Tennessee. Tyler “Bubba” Jeffries was rated as a top 30 prospect in Tennessee by both ESPN and 247Sports. He started his high school career at Greenback High School – where he started along the varsity offensive line as an eighth grader. Once moving to Alcoa High School, Jeffries helped them win three-straight TSSAA 3A state titles. Jeffries chose IU over offers from 16 schools, including Florida State, Mississippi State, Oregon, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.

Jeffries did not enroll early, so his first reps with the team will come this summer.
