2022 Countdown to IUFB Kickoff: 91 Days (LeDarrius Cox)

Welcome Hoosiers fans to the 2022 edition of the Hoosier Huddle Countdown! We are underway as we countdown from 100 days to the beginning of the 2022 Indiana University football season on September 2nd. Each day, we will look at one (or two) players on the current roster and highlight the players' roles in the upcoming season. Number 91 on the list is redshirt Junior LeDarrius Cox.

Cox transferred to the Hoosiers Football Program after spending three years in the Ole Miss program. Out of high school, Cox was highly recruited receiving offers from Auburn, Tennessee, and Georgia. https://247sports.com/Player/LeDarrius-Cox-46047082/high-school-200595/

Last season, Cox moved to the offensive line and did not play. In the previous two seasons, Cox appeared in 13 combined tallying five stops. A fumble recovery and two quarterback hurries.

 This season, Cox is expected to be a front-line starter on the defensive front. Considering his massive size Cox will be able to plow over offensive linemen and cause havoc. Cox also can display some tremendous speed. https://www.instagram.com/p/CXIMz1RFdm4/.

Expect Cox to get into a lot of action this season. If he can live up to his potential, he can change games. He won’t be hard to miss when on the field. Cox also brings a veteran presence playing three years of SEC football.
