2021 Countdown to Kickoff: 24 Days (Bryson Bonds)

There are now just 24 days left in the countdown to kickoff of the 2021 Indiana Football season. As the Hoosier Huddle 100 day countdown comes within its final stretch, it’s time to take a look at Bryson Bonds out of Crowley, TX.

Height: 6’1’’

Weight: 201 pounds

Hometown: Crowley, TX

Position: DB

Bonds played in eight games of the 2020 season at safety. He made two tackles throughout the season as well. Bonds has become somewhat of a mentor for fellow DB Jordan Grier. Bonds, as well as a few other guys have been coaching up Grier on how to perform. "I'm gaining a lot of knowledge from them. They are coaching me up and coaching me through the playbook as far as where I am supposed to be and when I need to be there” Grier said when talking about Bonds. 

Bonds came out of Crowley, TX, and he closed out his career with 300 tackles, 15 for loss, six interceptions, 30 pass breakups, eight fumble recoveries, six touchdowns, and two blocked field goals. Quite the resume for a defensive and special teams guy. He’s undoubtedly going to make more of an impact this season for Indiana.
