Matthew Bedford, an offensive lineman from Cordova High School in Tennessee, stands 6-foot-5, 260-pounds. As is always the case, the more offensive and defensive lineman you can add to your program the better. Fresh, big bodies are always paramount in having a chance at success in the Big Ten. Bedford provides just that. While he will need to adjust to the physicality of the college game, all the tools are there.

It’s not often IU football fans can say this, but the Hoosiers beat out a pair of SEC schools for a talented player. Bedford is ranked among the top-75 offensive tackles in the country and one of the 30 best players in the state. Kudos to Darren Hiller, William Inge, and the entire Indiana staff. Matthew Bedford is a huge addition to the program.
