One of the larger question marks surrounding the Indiana football program as we look towards the 2016 season is how the defense will look under new defensive coordinator Tom Allen. Allen’s defensive formation, a 4-2-5, features a pair of new positions that IU fans haven’t seen in Bloomington before. The “Husky” serves as the fifth member of the secondary. The “Bull” position is mainly the fourth defensive lineman. The primary focus of the Bull is to generate pressure on the quarterback. Pass rush is something that has been lacking within the IU defense the past couple of seasons and it stands out as a critical part to finding success in 2016. BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana head coach Kevin Wilson announced Shawn Watson has joined the program as an offensive quality control coach. Watson owns 34 years of coaching experience, highlighted by stints as an offensive coordinator in the Big Ten, Big 12 and Big East, as well as a three-year run as Southern Illinois head coach (1994-96).

Cameron and Lagow Take Control of Hoosiers' QB Battle

Kevin Wilson and the Hoosiers took a forward in narrowing the search for Nate Sudfeld's replacement at quarterback. After saying Saturday that the staff was, "giving the bulk of the work right now to (Danny) Cameron and (Richard) Lagow and to Austin King", head coach Kevin Wilson narrowed down the battle to just Lagow and Cameron on Tuesday morning. Wilson added that "we did a little bit more today with Danny and Richard Lagow getting the bulk of the work."
