Indiana redshirt freshman defensive tackle Raphael Green III was named Co-Freshman of the Week by the Big Ten Conference this week.  The Texas native recorded four tackles two for a loss, including his first career sack, and forced fumble against the Buckeyes on Saturday.  On the year Green III has 24 tackles, 4.5 TFL's, a forced fumble and two blocked field goals.  He has appeared in all 11 games this season, including eight starts.  The last Hoosier freshman to be named Player of the Week was Nate Sudfeld in September 2012.

The Hoosiers close out their 2013 campaign in the Battle for the Old Oaken Bucket against Purdue on Saturday at 3:30pm at Memorial Stadium.

This season has flown by, as I can already smell the Thanksgiving turkey, and the newfangled rivalry weekend that goes along with that. However, before all that the Hoosiers have to take a trip to the banks of the Olentangy River and face the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Horseshoe. While this is never an easy feat, and it’s even more difficult this year as Ohio State is the third ranked team in the nation. They have not lost since Luke Fickle led the team to a loss against the Gators in the Gator Bowl. So what are the men in cream and crimson up for when they face the men of scarlet and grey?
