The Indiana Hoosiers made history on Saturday. The Hoosiers got their first road victory over a Top-5 team, defeating the #3-ranked Oregon Ducks in Eugene. This was made possible by a stout Indiana defense who stepped up big in the 4th quarter, dominating a powerful Oregon offense in a hostile Big 10 road environment.

2025 Countdown to IUFB Kickoff: 46 Days (Isaiah Jones)
Isaiah Jones arrived in Bloomington as a true freshman for the 2022 campaign. Per iuhoosiers.com, he played in two games and then was redshirted. Following that season, Jones appeared in two more games in 2023, then skyrocketed to play all 13 games in 2024. In this banner 2024 season, Jones was one of the best graded Special Teams players in the entire country per Pro Football Focus grades. He also made his first collegiate start (vs. Northwestern on 10/5).

By now, you probably know who Aiden Fisher is. The All-American linebacker had a colossal year leading the Hoosiers defense which was considered one of the best defenses in the country in 2024. Last season, Fisher had 118 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. He was a great leader for the entire defense and now that he decided to return, he will be looked at to lead the team once again. But this is a very different team from previous years. With the amount of success the Hoosiers achieved last season, some of the young guys needed a reality check when they first arrived in Bloomington.
