The NFL Draft is coming up on Thursday in Kansas City and there are a few Hoosiers with hopes of hearing their name called over the weekend. The Hoosiers have a streak of nine consecutive years with an NFL draft pick, continued last season when Micah McFadden was drafted by the New York Giants in the fifth round. While they have not had a first-round pick in 29 years (second-longest streak in Power Five), it is important for Indiana to continue to stack years in which players are selected in the draft.
Former Hoosier LB Cam Jones Making Most of Senior Bowl Opportunity

Former Hoosier linebacker Cam Jones was the first Hoosier since Dan Godsil in 2019 to be selected to the Senior Bowl. The Senior Bowl is the premiere college football all-star game where players get a chance to practice and play in front of NFL coaches and scouts down in Mobile, Alabama.

Indiana linebacker Cam Jones was selected to play in the Reece’s Senior Bowl on Friday. He will represent the Hoosiers in the most prestigious postseason all-star game. Jones played in 47 games as a Hoosiers, however he missed the final seven games of the 2022 season.

The Indiana Hoosiers were without starters Cam Jones and Aaron Casey against Purdue Saturday afternoon, which lead IUto start true freshman Kaiden Turner.
