Tom Allen Suspends Peyton Hendershot Indefinitely From All Team Activities

Indiana head football coach Tom Allen has suspended tight end Peyton Hendershot indefinitely from all team activities according to a university press release.

“Indiana University Head Football Coach Tom Allen has suspended redshirt sophomore Peyton Hendershot immediately and indefinitely from all team activities. He will continue to evaluate the situation pending further developments.”

Hendershot was arrested on Saturday night on multiple charges including misdemeanor domestic battery.

Hendershot, who is recovering from off-season surgery, was an AL—Big Ten selection after a school-record season for a tight end where he caught 52 passes for 622 yards and five touchdowns.
