As I've gotten older, I've begun to appreciate the nostalgia of Bing Crosby singing Christmas songs

Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

@bulk-vh My daughter and grandson went and saw Trans Siberian in the Fort at the Coliseum. They loved it.

While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. H. Spurgeon

Ditto. I am nostalgic and sometimes wistful these days during the holiday season for the Christmas music of my childhood from traditional artists like Bing, Nat King Cole and Burl Ives as well as many of the 60's and 70's country music artists.

With my own kids nearly 2 decades into adulthood, I feel fortunate to relive those Christmas memories of my childhood and my kids' childhoods through my grandkids. It's a whole new generation to share those classics with.
