So funny live. Bummed.
Oh man, what a bummer.
Sad. I didn't realize he'd been battling after the assault. At the time, they canceled the rest of the tour but said a full recovery was expected. What a gut punch. Hope he's somewhere with Jerry Jeff and the others before him, jamming it out and sharing stories.

Sad, I just heard about this today. I had the pleasure of booking and working with Todd back in 94-95. We booked a couple shows at I believe the Patio and one at the Vogue. Just a great guy and the opposite of the egotistical rock stas who walked into our doors. I'm going to share a couple interviews of Todd with Otis Gibbs. They became close while in Nashville. I had the pleasure of knowing Otis from our days together at the Patio and Vogue.
This next video is from 2013 where Otis is visiting Todd at his house. It's pretty hilarious. There's a Part II as well.
Well apparently you can't copy and past the link of this 2nd video which is weird since they're both from youtube. I highly recomment you search up Otis Gibbs on youtube. His first video should be about the passing of Todd. It's a very intimate telling of his last week knowing Todd.
@hooky Sorry, I just now clicked on your video only to see it's the same one. There's plenty of other videos of Todd and Otis together for anyone interested.
@eppy99 You turned me on to Otis' youtube channel a couple of years ago now. I got the little ding notification as soon as he posted it.

@hooky It's a great video. Otis just played the Hi-fi in Indy, but I couldn't make the show. Have you checked out his latest release?

I haven't ever really listened to him. I do love all the stories though.

I saw him play the patio once. It was a little later though--sometime between 99 and maybe 02. Before Beer run. He broke out a mandolin and closed with "Will the Circle Be Unbroken." Which was odd but amazing. Just like him.
@whatthefrik Lotta great shows at the Patio. At his height when he was a regular on the Bob & Tom show he could sell out Patio and eventually the Vogue.

I'm sure. I saw him at least 4 times. Once at the Patio and maybe 3 or 4 times at the bluebird.
