I tend to think Bill Maher is an asshole, but here he proposes an interesting reason why our politics and policies basically don't change. It's not Mitch McConnell or Pelosi or other geezers, in fact it's the opposite end of the age spectrum.

Basically his point is young fanatical staffers are writing all the speeches and policies.
