Some protesters are definitely going too far, as Trump was hoping. Allows him to ratchet it up even further. They took the bait, unfortunately. But lies and public executions have a way of doing that.
Got you Melania movie tickets yet, @iucrazy2 ???
"You can't make someone listen to reason if they aren't willing to think"-- Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
The guy they were trying to pick up the Pressti was shot was a violent criminal (domestic violence among a handful of other charges).
How was he actively interfering, with his phone out and standing on a public sidewalk? He became involved when they roughed up a woman, pushing her to the ground. She was not involved at all with their operation and it is in no way clear that she was interfering with anything either, in any significant way
There is a segment of the left (I think a very large segment) whose position on the border basically amounts to open borders
Yeah, they love unicorns and fairies too. I have never met anyone in favor of open borders. I am sure there are a few loonies out there who do, but they are rare and dumb. Claiming it is "large segment" is (in your words) a bull shit lie.
You say to focus on the lawAbsolutely, deescalate, but then if you have to, arrest, charge, detain, give them their day in court. No vigilante justice
Have things been more aggressive in Minnesota?Public executions are "aggressive"? Dumb.
Well let's see, what did it look like last night when these "merely protesting" folks finally got dealt with by local police:

Welp...
Politicians in Minnesota are 95 percent to blame for the mess that’s happening there now.
@hoopsdoc Minnesota is having all of these problems, all of their past problems, because they elect Walz and Frey. And remember for all the people claiming that the Dem party isn't a radical left party, Walz is who they partnered with Harris. Could you imagine Harris/Walz in DC. It'd just be a massive welfare state, open air drug markets, criminals out everywhere, wealthy people leaving, etc. They'd quite literally destroy the country in eight years.
"It was a mess": Inside Trump's pivot on MinnesotaCredit to President Trump for seemingly shifting to a more reasonable approach in Minnesota.
I congratulated Trump last night on backing away, led to a discussion on Democrats being evil

Glad he is backing away but highly doubt it has anything to do with the murders
They jumped the gun saying Pretti was killed due to carrying a gun. That of course pissed off the NRA and 2nd amendment Republicans...which I think is what caused enough pressure to change course and wait til people forget
He's backing down because it's become a political disaster for him. There's moral outrage on both sides of the aisle and among the 45% (record high) of Americans who identify as independent.Credit to President Trump for seemingly shifting to a more reasonable approach in Minnesota.

Immigration was supposed to be his strong suit - - and it was with his successful closure of the southern border - - but he has squandered all of that with his Stephen Miller-inspired heavy-handed deportation strategy. His approval ratings are tanking.
The "left" was out of control / "messy" when they dumped tea in Boston harbor. Or marched for abolition. Or voting rights for women. Or protested Viet Nam. Or protested against segregation.
It is called GOOD TROUBLE, as long as it's nonviolent. As American as apple pie.
"You can't make someone listen to reason if they aren't willing to think"-- Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
@shooter And what is The Good Trouble they are marching for now? Leave our illegals alone? Ignore those who violated the law? We want open borders and to not enforce laws? A rebranding of Defund and Bail projects? Same song.....
@shooter And what is The Good Trouble they are marching for now?
Respect Constitutional rights. Follow due process. Leave law-abiding Americans alone. Don't execute people on the street for not showing who you think is proper respect. Don't lie about it when it happens.
I have said all this time after time. You just don't listen. Maybe you should read more carefully rather than constantly whacking off to pictures of Noem and Boebert, Murt.
"You can't make someone listen to reason if they aren't willing to think"-- Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
@shooter Now you're just bleating again. You are just throwing out words that you really don't know the meaning of, nor have any factual evidence that these people, who presumably appear to be illegals to the tune of over 3 million in a year, are being deprived of. As for the whacking off bit; I've seen your picture. What we attract has never been the same.
I care about the laws these people broke. Where are the stories about the children that were prostitutesd, the women who were sexually assaulted, the person who died because of the drug trafficking? And BTW, notice they are from Laos, China. South Africa, Somalia, El Salvador, Thailand, and Mexico. You should be calling on Dem cities to allow ICE to arrest them at the jail instead of in the community.

@ribbont Not to mention the ICE agents injured etc. Guys with families just trying to serve the country, enforce the laws.

Who knew we had such a problem with Laotians?
This guy stood up for himself. Lucky nobody offed him, I guess.
