Yeah, just let them into your home w/o a warrant. It's so much easier, takes up less time, and doesn't disrupt the part of the social contract that insists we bow down to authority.

I didn't want to start a seperate thread, but I thought Sam Harris' take on ICE and the Renee Good killing was really interesting. Sam's a pretty common sense guy. I'd be interested in everyone's opinion on Sam's take here:

Lol. Federal agents are enforcing federal law. What “we” should want in our societ6 is for them to perform their duties unimpeded.

In our fearful country in all too many communities it is not beyond belief a "home is my castle person" could gun down ICE personnel who entered the wrong home.
A federal judge has no authority to issue a deportation warrant.
A judge can only issue arrest warrants upon probable cause that the subject committed a crime. Deportations are not criminal and are not part of the federal criminal justice system.
