I think the problem is when you click on a topic, the forum software loads page 1 first, and then loads up your current page, and something on page 1 is slowing it down. I'm guessing those posts with the broken twitter links. I bet if those posts were deleted, it would speed everything up.
Or someone could just start a new thread.
