“Democratic Opposition: Senate Democrats voted against advancing the measure, arguing it was too weak because it did not force lawmakers to divest current holdings, excluded the executive branch, and contained an unrelated voter ID provision they labeled a "poison pill".”

Wait. That's news? Like there was ever any doubt. LOL.
He's probably already pricing some of the pardons and determining what his total take will be. "Hey, Howard, I can sell you one for $10 mil. Ka$h, I'm gonna give you a deal like nobody's ever seen before - - $1 mil. Steve, you've been able to expand your business network in the Middle East thanks to me. $25 mil and you're good to go."
Tate Bros aren't in the administration but they'll probably get one too, for a price. Freebies, though, for family members like Junior, Jared and Eric.
I guess this thread is suitable not just for Trump but also the Trump Crime Family, so here goes.
Kushner's firm (Affinity Partners) has cashed in on Israel's military activities while Kushner serves as a key Middle East envoy and conflict negotiator.
"According to the investigation, Kushner avoided deeper scrutiny of the potential conflict of interest because he was serving as an unpaid envoy rather than in an official government role that would have required him to disclose his financial assets. The arrangement, CNN reported, created an unprecedented dual role [for Kushner] in the Trump administration, combining profitable business interests with high-stakes diplomacy against the backdrop of a devastating war. Kushner has described Phoenix as Affinity’s “best investment.”

Pay-to-play presidency.
Trump and the rest of the crime family are cashing in literally like nobody's ever seen before.
They're so tone-deaf and out of touch that they have no clue that people are putting $10 worth of gas in the car and hoping they don't run out of gas before they make it to the grocery store and back to buy food on a credit card.
“CNN found no sign that Kushner’s diplomatic activity directly influenced the investments it examined”
Kushner and Trump for that matter, have long advocated for more western capitalist investment in the Middle East as one of the building blocks for long term peace. That would include tourism. You should applaud them for assuming the risks and for the vision.

Finish the paragraph. "His firm, however, recorded significant gains from its investment in Phoenix, selling a quarter of its stake in July for more than $340 million — a return of five times its initial investment."
Do you know what "conflict of interest" means?
Are you a bot?

It's a strong theory. Affinity Partners was essentially born out of the Abraham Accords. It takes Gulf money and invests it in Israeli businesses. And the result has been stronger Gulf/ Israeli relations.

While lining conflicts-laden Kushner's pockets with billions.

If you think Kushner has made "Billiions" at Affinity Partners, then you have no fucking clue how Private Equity works and should probably shut the hell up about the whole topic.

LMAO. The irony in that is that Kushner himself had little to no private equity experience before the Saudis made him filthy rich. In fact, MBS's internal advisory panel opposed the $2 billion investment in Kushner's then-new firm because of that lack of experience.
Kushner has leveraged his White House position to become exceptionally wealthy. It all reeks of conflicts. He needs to get his scrawny ass out of the Middle East diplomacy business but of course he won't because that involvement is making him richer.
Who would want to sit at the same table as Trump? That’s like eating dinner with Farva’s outhouse rats.
