Not this one. Not same fund and no five person commission making the decision. You know this. At least you should. It doesn’t seem that you bother looking into details these days. The details are probably uncomfortable for you.Not accurate
Under what process and by which fund was Bobbitt’s family paid?
Seems no sane Republican politician approved of this slush fund but you defended it. Why?

So the payouts are being shelved for the time being. Is the IRS immunity still in effect?

@aloha-hoosier Some of his posts in this thread are little more than word salads. He was dismissive of the 35 former federal judges who filed the Rule 60 motion or, in the alternative, requesting leave to appear as amici curiae, mockingly asking something along the lines of "where did they find these judges?" He thinks the so-called settlement passes legal muster, and he refused to answer my question (I asked three times) about whether he's ok with cop-beaters tapping into a slush fund.
He's wasting time here, and not getting any more of mine.
@aloha-hoosiier
I never defended it. I said it wasn’t a big deal. Trump did it to attract attention, which is why he does a lot of stuff
My friend COH and I did a lot of arguing against liberal Democrats and their policies over the years. We also defended Republican Presidents, politicians and policies. I think we did it honestly and logically. There’s something insidious about Trump. I think it’s impossible to honestly and logically defend a lot of what President Trump says and does. As a result, many formerly honest and logical Republicans who want to support Trump, I guess because he claims to be a Republican, have twisted their minds somehow by supporting him.Not this one. A federal judge robe doesn’t mean the judge is smart, competent, or objective. 7 federal judges got the question of presidential immunity soooooo wrong.

What you don't defend, you dismiss. You never condemn.
You never condemn.
Not true. I criticized the process that brought us the BBB. I think Trump Accounts are big government BS. I also criticized Trump’s attack on the Johnson Amendment.

Saying it isn't a big deal is defending it. Trump could murder a kid and you would say it is no big deal
As expected, it looks like the administration is shutting down the illegal slush fund. Hopefully there will still be a final adjudication on the underlying litigation and "settlement" constituting an abuse of process and/or fraud on the court. Otherwise Trump could pull something like this again.
Someone needs to tell him that he can't be on both sides of the "v."

At least it shows that there is a line that will cause some republicans in congress to say no. They aren't 100% spineless/ball-less sheep. 1% spine left.

The idea of convicted cop-beaters getting money was too much for them. Think about that for a second, though. That's what it took.
I know Blanche was a federal prosecutor, but he seems dumber than a box of rocks. This was and is a huge political liability, particularly as we're just months before the midterms.

They ought to be just as concerned with the blanket IRS audit immunity that leads to shoveling millions into Trump bank accounts.

Just stop this stupid shit posting. Nowhere was it written that convicted cop beaters would get a dime. Even if that might happen, the conduct of the government is what is involved. Any cop- lawyer will tell you that sometimes bad guys get compensation because of bad government conduct.
Bobbitt.
Why do guys like you always beat up Trump over silly crap? Not only is it silly, you always lie about it and exaggerate the consequences . Cop beaters getting money? Millions in Trump bank accounts? Jeeebus!
I started a thread weeks ago about Trump attacking the Johnson amendment and all I got from the mental weaklings around here was crickets. Meanwhile you make mountains out of molehills.
Some of the Trump stuff that attracts the most criticism are nothingburgers, but criticism doesn’t take effort. Other stuff is much more consequential and many give him a pass because ya gotta think about stuff.
