@bradstevens I don't give a shit.  It's like being upset because someone "might have" stolen a penny off of me.  Those cunts in government steal trillions every year.

For the record I am on board for going scorched earth on all of them and cutting government by 90%.  Let me know when you're on board so I can start the revolution.  We'll have an army of two.

If we don't care about public corruption, we are lost.

I've long advocated--seriously, not just for shock value--that public corruption should carry the death penalty.

You should.

Two wrongs don’t make a right.

This is their game. They come up with all sorts of oppression from the other side, requiring varying levels of imagination or even insanity to believe, just so they can justify their own corruption.

I'm granting the oppression arguendo.  It's still faulty logic.

Fair enough. Sometimes I'm too reactive.

Promising favorable treatment for border control contracts under the 2nd Trump administration. But once the administration took office, the investigation was shut down. Shocking.

On one hand... I am not surprised and disappointed. On the other, I am skeptical of MSNBC's reporting and sources (that's who broke this story).

I get that, but Carol Leonnig put her name on the byline. She's not some weak-minded partisan shill. She's a legit journo. Dilanian, I don't know much about.

And this is the reason why they can get away with things like this.  If it's the other team, all of a sudden, pubs care, but because it's someone on the right, it's okay.   And yes, I'd be saying the same thing if it were a dem that did this kind of thing.  Wrong is wrong.

We have the government we deserve.

After what your side did to Trump, to Flynn, to Bannon, to Roger Stone, etc while Hillary, Obama, Biden, and many others get away with massive felonies no we do not care.

Thank you for confirming you guys are no longer the party for law and justice.

Seems like your side wants to let anyone that is cool with MAGA get away with whatever they want, but Trump's enemies are fair game.

Hypocrite

Your side set the rules.  We will play by them.

I'm on the side of no corruption when it comes to this kind of stuff.  Accept a bribe, with evidence to support the claim, you should be prosecuted no matter what party the individual is.

This shouldn't be a tick for tat kind of thing, but here we are.  Pathetic.

So Biden’s FBI was running coercive sting operations against their political opponents?

IIUC, he wasn't a target until he became tangentially included in some other undisclosed investigation. It was only after he was brought to their attention that the FBI started looking his way.

I get that they can't and shouldn't release it, but I sure would like to see/hear the video/audio that is supposed to exist. How big is a paper bag of $50K in cash, anyway? Can you fit $20s, or does it need to be $100s?

WH Press Secretary says this was investigated and reporting is false.

Well, that's a relief. We all know a WH Press Secretary would never lie.

President Trump's WH Press Secretaries have been absolute paragons of honesty, starting with Sean Spicer correcting everyone's eyes when they doubted the President's claim that his inauguration had the largest crowd ever. Spicer explained to all of us that it was indeed the largest ever, despite pictures and film showing it wasn't, and we need to understand the concept of "alternate facts."

Former WH Press Secretary for President Trump describes the "culture of casual dishonesty" at the White House:

Did Homan pay taxes on that $50K? That should be simple for someone to check.

I’m not sure you just made the point you think you made.

Dbm has long demonstrated that he has no admirable principles to follow. To be fair to him, this is widespread among MAGA "Republicans," along with hypocrisy.

Is anyone actually disputing that he actually took $50K in cash delivered in a fast food bag? I haven't really seen that refuted. It's just that people either don't care or have offered up a flimsy 'he wasn't in his current role yet' argument. Seems like a high ranking government official knowingly taking bribes should be a bigger deal than it is.
