@bradstevens I don't care how they identify.  The problem stems from centralization and governments controlling way too much capital. Extreme examples of this being Stalin and Hitler who were able to do what they did because of centralization of power and capital. Wake me up when Bari starts advocating for reducing the government by 50% or at least promoting decentralization.

He temporarily stopped some crime

How do you know it’s temporary?

Because the fed govt isn't going to permanently station the NG in DC.

Not fair enough.  Waltz bragged about this.

Oh, what a dupe you are.

Aug. 12, 2024: This fact check was revised from a "True" to a "Mostly False" rating upon more careful consideration of the law's actual wording, which does not mandate achieving the desired outcome by stocking menstrual products in boys' bathrooms.

Based on quoting the MN Star Tribune EB... this is the only state that didn't endorse Ronald's second term.

I'll start paying attention to criticisms of sources when you guys start ripping dmb for his bullshit.  I just picked one of about 20 different sites that outlined the situation in much the same manner.

Interesting.  For you the difference is the NG stationed by a Republican president?  That doesn't speak well of Democrats or the residents of DC.

@mcm666

We have to deal with the board we have, not with the one we wish we have.

Uh, this board is 100% created, molded, nurtured, directed, and dominated by mcm1620+.

@mcm666 As for the defunding the police, many of those cities allocated their funds differently rather than just cutting, such as putting more money to mental health funds. Some cities cut budgets.

Um, that's defunding the police.  Don't gaslight about it. Admit it, and then argue for why it is better to reroute those funds to other things.

would it also be gaslighting to not mention that the GOP is as guilty, if not more guilty, of cutting law enforcement funding?

@mrhighlife “if not more guilty.”  NYC pd 2020 defunded. 1 billion dollars out of a 5 billion dollar budget. 92 percent of that budget came from city taxes. How in the fck does that have anything to do with the gop “if not more guilty.”  You and hickory and zeke and so many others leave little to the imagination as to how we ended up with woke insanity.  It’s a disastrous combination of a lack of education, zero desire to be informed, and entrenched feelings. At once sad and stupid.

Good luck

mostly by local taxes. But they do also get some federal grants. Which were cut by the GOPs latest budget. ATF and FBI funding was also cut.

Ah I deleted that. I don't even know you.

But lack of education? Haha. Trumps budget cut funding to law enforcement. So you don't have an argument on this. I don't either by the way.

I don't think pointing out that both sides have cut law enforcement funding in the past few years is being tribalistic. But ok.
